Windproof NOT waterproof.

It says "waterproof" but in the details is says "water resistant". That means light splashes or water misting. It's NOT for rain. It's great in the winter to wear over sweatpants or non-regulation comfortable winter pants. The legitimate waterproof pants are the gore-tex postal pants. It really let your body breath while being completely waterproof!

NOT WATERPROOF

I bought these pants hoping that they were waterproof and just like the insulated parka they are not. On a rainy 38-degree day I soon found out that these pants soak in every drop of water. I have no idea how they can be advertised as waterproof. Even so they do work well on cold windy days.
